Maine Ministry Outreach Center's 4th annual Acadia bike hike will take place at the end of this year's Teen VBS One80 event. This is a wonderful time to get out and appreciate God's creation. The ride is in the midst of one of the most beautiful spots in Maine and if you are willing to take the difficult parts with a grain of salt and good humor, then you will be greatly encouraged and blessed (which means happy ;).
Oh, and did we mention that this is also a lot of fun??
When: Friday, August 21st -- all day event
Who: Age 12-18
Where: Meet at LMBC 7:00am - Pickup at LMBC around 5:00pm (you will be notified as to the exact pickup time)
Cost: $35 with bike rental - $10 without bike rental (transportation for your personal bicycle is available)
Important details to note:
1) Must be able to ride a bicycle
2) If you plan to bring your own bike please be sure it is in good operation. We will probably ride between 12 and 18 miles and we wouldn't want anyone to get to the middle with flat tire or broken chain!
3) Helmets are required for all riders under age 18 - Rentals are available
4) Bring a bag lunch! Snacks and water will be provided
5) If you have any health concerns or dietary restrictions, please be sure to mention them on the registration form
