Maine Ministry Outreach Center is a 501c3 non-profit ministry founded by its board of directors in 2011 to fulfill the following purpose:

“Assisting the local church, by reaching, equipping and mobilizing young leaders for Christ.”

The State of Maine is currently one of the most secular states in the US. According to one recent survey* less than half of Mainers have a firm belief in God. Churches are dwindling and many are struggling to effectively reach the youth. This has resulted in a large number of young people living without a true knowledge of the gospel of Jesus Christ. They are living in increasing darkness with drugs and alcohol invading more and more homes. Many youth workers are overwhelmed with the task before them.

It is our desire to be a help to the local churches and ministries of Maine in the realm of youth ministry outreach. We want to come alongside of these ministries and offer encouragement, training and resources. This vision for Maine is large but we serve a mighty God! And this is why we join with the Psalmist asking that God would empower us to “declare [His] power to the next generation, [His] might to all who are to come.” Psalm 71:18b

Maine Ministry has established a work fund for our missionary staff that they might be able to devote much of their time to this ministry. We need the help of God’s people to accomplish this important work.

Please consider prayerfully what God would have you do.
