Our Calling
There are so many young people who have deep questions about the things of God. However, they have shut themselves off to talking about God because their family or friends have been hurt or disappointed by the church, or because their own questions about God were brushed aside with trite Christianese sayings. Other young people who have placed their trust in Jesus are looking for discipleship and opportunities to share their faith. We believe God has called us to come alongside of area churches throughout Maine to providing training, resources and support that will equip them to raise up young disciple-makers from within their church bodies to engage those around them with the Gospel. This is the purpose of Maine Ministry Outreach Center. 2 Tim 2:2, 2 Cor 4:1-6 Who will fill the G.A.P.?
It is always a joy for our family to serve God where He leads us and serving Him through Maine Ministry Outreach Center is one of our greatest joys yet. During our time here we have seen God provide in miraculous ways, allowing us to devote time to ministering the Gospel. However, we believe that others are missing out on the blessings of partnering in the spread of the gospel here in Maine. We've also been reminded that by neglecting to ask other to partner with us we are neglecting to ask on behalf of those we're serving and those serving alongside us. Philippians 4:14-19 Between our roles at Maine Ministry and the roles in our local church, we know that we need to devote ourselves completely to the call God has placed on our lives - but we can't do this alone. We need others to come along side of as as Gospel Advancing Partners who will commit to prayerfully and financially join in with us in this great work! Ezekiel 22:30 |
Our hearts echo the words of Jeremiah:
"If I say, “I will not mention him, or speak any more in his name,”

We have seen God provide over and over again and could write a book on all that He has done in and through us. Still, we know that He has called us to work together as the body of Christ for the spread of His Gospel!
